As an engineer at Shenzhen Zhucheng Powder Metallurgy Co., Ltd., I am required to be on-site throughout the project‑monitoring process, promptly identifying and resolving any issues that arise. When employees encounter uncertainties or challenges, it falls to me to make immediate decisions and arrangements, or to communicate with my supervisors without delay to find a solution. Thus, being an engineer demands both decisiveness and a strong sense of autonomy.

When preparing process documentation, it is essential to approach the task with meticulous care and a strong sense of responsibility. Since these documents serve as the basis for production, workers will follow them scrupulously in their execution, operations, and inspections. Consequently, any oversight or error in your process documentation can lead to product defects, ultimately resulting in delivery delays and damage to the company’s reputation and financial performance.

When preparing process documentation, it is essential to maintain clear logical organization, use precise language, and clearly identify the product’s critical dimensions and requirements. In some cases, it is also necessary to document previously encountered issues at the end of the document, thereby reminding personnel to conduct timely inspections and preventing the recurrence of past problems.

In the office, engineers are also responsible for conducting random inspections of products, verifying and measuring various dimensions, and recording the relevant data. Upon shipment, they must prepare a test report and include it with the goods before dispatching them to the customer. Furthermore, when issues arise during mold production, timely feedback is required: minor problems are resolved internally, while more complex issues are escalated to management, who then assign personnel for repair. Once the repairs are completed, we must schedule re‑testing and resumption of production.
